What To Expect

Auditions for the 2020-2021 season will be held at both Fairfield Woods Middle School and Holland Hill ES.  Auditions are by appointment only and will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. There is a $100 registration fee ($50 registration/$50 tuition) payable within 10 days of the scheduled audition,  by cash, check or credit card.  If a child is not accepted into the FCCC, the $50 tuition will be refunded.  A school photo of your child should be brought to the audition. Auditions are 5-7 minutes long and will consist of the following: sing “Frere Jacques” (in French or English)  and “America the Beautiful” or “America” (My Country ’tis of Thee).  Song lyrics will be available for you at the rehearsal, you do not have to memorize the songs. You will also be asked to echo a few melodic patterns from the piano.  Singers who read music may be asked to demonstrate their proficiency.  (It will be easy!)

For an audition appointment, please call 203-414-4292 in mid- April. Your acceptance to the choir will be announced by early July.
