For twenty-one years the Fairfield County Children’s Choir has provided children the opportunity to experience making music of the highest caliber. From the beginning the Choir has promoted music as a community and cultural link by encouraging participation from all economic and social backgrounds and by promoting collaboration with musicians from around the State, around the country and around the world.
In order to encourage diversity, the Choir has committed to keeping tuition at a level that is much lower than the national or State average for comparable Choirs. The Fairfield County Children’s Choir has provided financial aid to all accepted students who requested it since its founding. Through the FCCC outreach program, Bridges through Music, the FCCC has partnered with Bridgeport educators to respond to the needs of urban youth. These students participate in auditions and those that are accepted into the Choir receive full tuition, music and uniforms.
Your sponsorship helps offset expenses, but more importantly, your generosity extends the benefits of choral instruction to youth that would otherwise not be able to participate.
