Fairfield County Children’s Choir (FCCC) is a community-based choral program that offers exceptional musical training and opportunities to perform locally and throughout the world.
Audition Information 2026/2027 Season
We are holding an additional early fall auditions in September ! To register, email Manager@SingFCCC.org.
- Membership in Fairfield County Children’s Choir is by audition.
- Auditions are open to children entering grades 4 through 12.
- Please contact Manager@SingFCCC.org for an audition appointment to be held in May and June of 2026.
- Sign ups begin in April. (Auditions are just 7 minutes)!
FCCC Referral Rewards Program
We are excited to announce a new member referral program! The FCCC will refund $50 for every new chorister referred.
- Referrals of new choristers may be made by any current FCCC chorister or parent.
- The new chorister will print the name of the person who made the referral on their audition form.
- The referring chorister/parent will submit a referral form to the General Manager, listing the person(s) they have referred.
- The new and referring chorister must pay full tuition for the year.
- Rebates will be made after the FCCC Winter Concert in December.
What To Expect
Singers are asked, but not required, to sing “Frere Jacques” (in any language) and “America the Beautiful”, or “America” (My Country ’tis of Thee). Song lyrics will be are available at the audition and may be downloaded HERE.
Your child will also be asked to echo a few melodic patterns from the piano. Singers who read music may be asked to demonstrate their proficiency. (It will be easy!).
A fee of $50 will be due at the time of sign up.
Acceptance to the choir will be announced by email at the end of June.

What To Know
Placement in one of the four choirs of the FCCC is based on the following criteria:
- Musical Aptitude: pitch and rhythmic accuracy
- Vocal Tone & Technique: posture, breath, tone and diction
- Work ethic: positive attitude, enthusiasm
- Ability to read music
